COME BACK HOME:

Come Back Home is the sequel to You, Me, and the All-engulfing Sea (can be played without previous knowledge). It builds on the previous storyline from the perspective of a different individual, and presents a similar style of gameplay, with puzzles and exploration to escape a strange place. In this game, the player awakens in a unknown, yet oddly familiar underwater building, as a teenage boy by the name of Adrian. Through his attempt to escape and gather information,  the story of his past, as well as the fate of his future, becomes increasingly clear.

Hi dev!!

So, I just reached one ending (when I continued to sleep on this one big bed) through odd means...

....because...

....(>.<)"....

....I did trial-and-errors to get the correct number combinations to open the first two numerically locked doors. (;-;) My overworked brain can't figure out where to look for clues. I would greatly appreciate some pointers, please. I have some ideas (after I unlocked them) but I want to make sure.

Thank you!

EDIT: Also, may I know how many endings are there?

Hello! There are a total of 5 endings, and 2 of them can be achieved in a couple of different ways. For the locked doors, the door to the second floor's code is achieved through hints in the first floor's two locked rooms (3 pieces of paper). The numeric code on the second floor is achieved from the numbers on the glass bottles in the wine bottle room.

That's why I'm having a hard time on the first floor's numerically locked door ~ I have to get three pieces of paper. >.< Thank you, I'll start over again. Have a great week!

You too! Good luck on your second run-through! ^^

Hello again!!

I was finally able to progress further and got some endings!! XDD

Well, the story's impact on me is indescribable ~ it affected me somehow because I can relate. It's been written really well so if this is a manhwa/manga, I would have cried rivers. :((

The puzzles, somehow, surely gave me a hard time ~ maybe because I couldn't think how you set them up at first. XDD But yeah, I got lucky and finished it. I'm so glad!! GREAT GAME!!!

Is it okay if I upload my let's play of Come Back Home (it's the smoother version)? Please check below.

Let me know if not! Thank you!

Of course it's fine to upload your playthrough! I greatly appreciate your support! ^^ I'm glad that you could relate to the game and enjoyed it. Also, congratulations for finding all of the endings!

I didn't expect this. I never thought we'd get a sequel! I saw this as soon as I woke up so I must say, you've made my day :) Unfortunately I'm stuck,,, at the beggining lmao
The note on the bookshelf says "v v v v v >"  which I'm not sure if it's made on purpose or is just a glitch,,, I'm assuming the note has something to do with the numeric lock as well, as the equation results to only 1 number,,, Can I please get a hint? I am confusion

(+2)

Hello! The note is not a glitch haha ^^ For a hint, try laying aside the numeric lock first and seeing what else the note could mean in the room.

I finally got it,,, Thank you very much! My goblin brain needed a few minutes to get what it meant...

Hello! Even with all these hints and all 3 pieces of paper i still can't solve this puzzle:((( I can smell my brain burning... or maybe i don't have one... Please help(;_;)

(+1)

Hello! ^^ The first coded door is a replacement puzzle, and the papers tell you how to go about it! Hope that helps!

Thank you, but i already gave up (*sounds of shameful stupidity*) and iterated over all possible options. Well, less than half of them. And only after that understood why it is

Loved the story and art style of this. Will the original game be available on Mac at some point?

(+1)

Thank you! ^^ Since I made the other game on an older program, the graphics may not transfer smoothly, but I am considering revamping it on the new program so that I can make it available on Mac!

Hello! If you are still interested, "You, Me, and the All-engulfing Sea" is now available for Mac!

Awesome, I'll check it out, thank you!
